This paper analyzes the creating and development of the leadership of the Saudi Royal Family since the beginning of the 20th Century. Saudi Royal Family established Saudi Arabia in cooperation with the British and has already overcome the historic challenges involving Nasser’s socialist revolution of 1950s-1960s and Khomeini’s Islamic Revolution of 1979 which caused the upheavals in the political system. In the midst of this whirlpool, Saudi Royal Family has firmly Kept the conservative monarchy against the Islamic revolution and the socialist systems and exerted a great influence on the political landscape in the Middle East as establishing the security alliances with the United States Arab Spring will serve as a new deal and is expected to bring about a political upheaval in the Middle East. To Analyze the leadership of Saudi Royal Family as the Arab world’s key player serves an important window to predict the direction of change in this area.
